Camille Stough

Consumer Advocacy Attorney  |  (415) 929-8876

Camille Stough is new to TURN but not to energy law or climate justice advocacy. Camille has been working on energy issues since she first joined her law school’s environmental justice clinic in 2014 and has been a strong advocate for the public good throughout. At TURN Camille will represent consumer interests in key regulatory proceedings concerning clean energy, consumer financing, as well as complex rate issues that directly impact the monthly bills of millions of Californians.

Camille said “I share TURN’s vision of safe and affordable essential services for all. I’m excited to join TURN’s diverse and talented team and to advocate for equitable energy policies that empower consumers while protecting the environment.”

Before joining TURN Camille was a staff attorney with Communities for a Better Environment, litigating cases and developing policies for climate justice, clean energy, and smarter land use. Camille has also worked with boutique energy law firms representing utility workers and community choice aggregators, before the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Energy Commission.

Camille attended Golden Gate University of School of Law and was awarded her JD degree, with distinction in environmental law, in 2014. She holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.
