Eric Borden

Eric Borden joined TURN as Energy Policy Analyst in February of 2015. Eric will prepare testimony, conduct analyses, and represent TURN in various proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure, utility procurement, demand response, and rate cases. Prior to joining TURN, Eric was a consultant for major utilities, an inter-governmental energy agency, and an energy services company. He is the author of numerous academic publications and was awarded a German Chancellor Fellowship by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, which facilitated energy research in Germany and extended to aspects of US energy policy. Eric hold a Masters in Public Affairs with a concentration in natural resources and the environment from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree in finance and entrepreneurship from Washington University in St. Louis.
